On this day in live music history: What can I say about Hendrix that hasn’t already been said?  The man was as close to a Musical God as I can imagine there being.  This is a rendition of Cream’s “Sunshine of Your Love,” which had only been released about a year prior.  It’s also worth noting that this performance comes from a radio studio in Germany proving that a musician does not necessarily need a live audience to fuel his/her creative fire.
