On this day in live music history (1-25-84): From the same tour that gave us Stop Making Sense, David Byrne and the Heads were at the top of their game at this point in their careers, and “Burning Down the House” has to be considered one of the best songs of the decade. It’s a song that translated so well to a live setting, as they prove here 28 years ago to the day.
