On this day in live music history (1-26-95): The fact that Trey Anastasio joined DMB on stage this night 16 years ago should have come as no surprise to those in attendance.  After all, it was the hometown of Phish, and members of DMB had sat in with Phish three times in the previous nine months.   Both bands were gaining steam as America’s premiere jambands, as much as they may have lamented the term, and any collaborative efforts seem to fit well.
