On this day in live music history (2-2-88): In July of 1987, the Gunners released Appetite for Destruction and about a year later it hit the top of the U.S. charts.  It is now the top selling debut album of all time.  As momentum from the album was gaining but before the band became forever cemented as Rock icons, they played a show at The Ritz in New York City which this version of “Sweet Child O Mine” comes from.
